Zimbabwe President Robert Mugabe has advised his Uganda counterpart Yoweri Museveni to ignore the remarks made by US Republican GOP Presidential aspirant Donald Trump and stay put as Uganda President.
Speaking while responding to Trump remarks that Museveni rigged himself to retain the Presidency, Mugabe said Trump is a fool and he should go and commit suicide if he is not comfortable with President Museveni’s victory. Mugabe was speaking on Sunday in Harare Catholic Parish.
He reiterated that the people of Uganda have spoken loudly like the torrents of Tsunami and nobody can impede them.
“The people of Uganda have spoken in one voice and no one can stop them, not even that the ugly fool that wants to be American President. The people of Uganda have come like the torrents of Tsunami and nobody can stand on their way. Ugandans are not cowards as Trump want people to believe” Said Mugabe.
“Africans are so democratic that even people like Trump are jealous. The people of Uganda are so thankful that they decided to award Museveni with another five year term just like the people of Rwanda are grateful with Kagame as their President and they have already awarded him another eitght year term. What is wrong if Ugandans feel Museveni is their right man and decide to make him life President? That will be the will of the people because nobody coerces them to change their constitution in favor of their beloved President. If that is not democracy, then the word should be rebased in dictionaries” Added Mugabe.
Mugabe remarks comes barely a month after Trump threatened to lock Mugabe and Museveni in prison when he takes over as the US President.
