Bishop Margaret Wanjiru (BMW) has hinted that she may be headed back to ODM. The Bishop has revealed that she was more happy in ODM than she is at Jubilee. Speaking at a rally in Starehe constituency, BMW said that her counterparts are not showing her any love compared to when she was in ODM.
BMW who is also a Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant has been facing challenges from her colleagues who are also vying for the same. Wanjiru is allied to the camp that encompasses Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko, Nominated MP Johnson Sakaja and Water Cabinet Secretary Eugine Wamalwa, all vying for the same position.
The emergence of former Gatanga MP and Presidential candidate Peter Kenneth has given BMW and his colleagues a hard time because all indications show he is the Preferred candidate over them.
According to analysts, the Bishop has realized she has no space in Jubilee and is contemplating on going back to her former boss Raila Odinga.
“I am a born again Christian and I can’t hide my dissatisfaction in Jubilee. When I was in ODM, I was happy because no one ever harassed of chased me away. Raila treated me with love and respect yet he is Luo. Here, my own people are neglecting and even chasing me away from our own party” Said the Bishop.
