Washington DC, United States. US President-elect Donald Trump has warned Kenya’s President Uhuru Kenyatta against stealing elections in the upcoming August polls.
Speaking yesterday after meeting US spy agencies in Washington DC, Trump said he will use President Uhuru as a case study of how he intends to deal with African dictators.
President Trump said he has been following the dictatorial tendencies in Africa by ruthless and heartless leaders inebriated with power. He said he plans to bring the nonsense to an end.
Trump, however, blamed the outgoing US President Barrack Obama for condoning dictators in Africa yet he had promised to free the people from the clutches of modern-day perpetual slavery.
“I want to make it absolutely clear that I am going to deal with any African tyrant especially those that steal elections and deny citizens their inalienable right to vote for their preferred candidate in a free fair and credible election. Very soon I’ll be sworn is as US President and I want to promise the world that I shall be watching with a keen eye each and every election in Africa. Very soon Kenya is going for elections and it is a blessing in disguise because it’ll be the first African election under my watch. The current President must ensure the polls are free, fair and credible. Any attempt to deprive Kenyans of their constitutional right will be dealt with harshly” Said Trump.
Trump will be sworn in as US President in a week’s time.
