This country is facing a serious intellectual recession. You find a whole adult arguing that there is nothing wrong with Raila joining Jubilee in oppressing Kenyans because they refused to vote for him last year.
I thought the argument was that his victory was stolen by Jubilee. When did he ratify last year’s election as free and fair and therefore conclude that Kenyans never voted for him? Our 2kb memory is our greatest liability as a people.
These NASA thuraku’s say Raila owes Kenyans nothing. Even if the election in August was fair doesn’t he owe the millions who voted for him support on these tax matters?
They claim the old man is tired with opposition politics and therefore is justified to join the eating few. What nonsense! The 94 year old PM of Malaysia is still fighting bad governance.
If you are truly serving the greater good, there is no way you can substitute the fight for good governance with the feeding troughs of graft. Raila is Jubilee and Jubilee is Raila. There are no two ways about it.
It can only be concluded that Raila is a fraud and a political conman serving his own self perpetuation cause. He has no regard whatsoever for the suffering of the people who have always supported his political career.
Raila’s rhetoric is no different from that of Uhuru Kenyatta. He talks big but falls short on action. His DNA is that of an oppressor; a proverbial wolf in sheepskin. A typical rich family spoilt brat that only views the poor as a stepping carpet to high office.
Those who died for his cause are now long forgotten and their memories meaningless. Those who filled his rallies on empty stomachs are now all but a distant memory. Their suffering counts for nothing.
Kenyans of goodwill must condemn this kind of political mischief and expediency. It is thinking like this that emboldens dirty and myopic politics. Tribal minions and bigots are always at hand to clean up after the mess by their tribal gods.
The future of this country lies in choosing a leader who is not encumbered by cheap political adventure but who has a solid vision for the country. Raila and his Jubilee crackpots must fall hard and soon.
