Fellow Kenyans, Let Us Pray For Our Country, Please! UHURU And RAILA Will Bankrupt It Soon
Albert Nyakundi Amenya aka Banana Peddler
It is an open secret that since Uhuru Kenyatta took over the presidency, the economy has been anything but disastrous. In 2013, Uhuru Kenyatta failed to show us what he had achieved in the previous five years he was at the helm, to warrant his being re-elected. Plebeians were tired of him. They wanted to seize the opportunity and change things. They wanted to work out their salvation by voting for change. But Uhuru being a good student of former NAZI leader and Germany Führer Adolf Hitler, he had the best laid plans for rigging.
The people refused to go to the ballot when they detected rigging. Uhuru proceeded to conduct his own elections, ran against self and eventually declared himself a winner. Maraga was forced at gun point, to throw in the towel. When they protested, they were harassed and arrested in Gestapo style. Clearly, the wishes of Kenyans were not respected at the ballot. After all, Hitler put it clear that “It is not the truth that matters, but victory”
Since Uhuru swore himself in as Commander-In-Chief, Kenyans has become 40 per cent poorer. In fact, even backward nations like Zimbabwe and Uganda are coming to their senses that they can compete with us internationally. The shilling has lost value. The dollar that exchanged at with Ksh80 when Kenyatta was taking over in 2013, now goes for Ksh103 or more. The loans that used to help people prosper, Citizens are now avoiding them like a poisonous snake. Any loan from lending institution is a source of worry, coupled with extreme poverty.
It is absurd that today we are saddled with inept and clueless leaders devoid of aptitude and discipline. This administration has sold our nation to China. For instance, the paradox of having the Chinese operate the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) yet we have qualified Kenyans who can do those jobs makes clear our poverty of ideas. These are annoying time for every Kenyan. Ordinary citizens have been toughened by the hard times since Uhuru Kenyatta took over. Government cannot help them. No doubt. Raila used to be the people’s defender but now he ha joined looters. Uhuru and Raila will eat this country blue.
It is noteworthy that life has become so difficult that salary alone, cannot allow one to cut their coat according to their cloth and live within their income. More than 70 per cent of our youths are jobless. The only job remaining among them is having sex and making babies. Our youth have become dangerous thugs. Others have become thugs for hire in the hands of rogue and corrupt politicians. As a nation, our neighbours have lost the respect they once had for us. But how can we demand respect from others if we have not respected ourselves? The question remains, for how long shall we continue this way?
