It’s worthy noting that our brothers and sisters from central Kenya and Rift Valley understand the power of a vote and they have been exercising it liberally in the party primaries. Just look at the familiar names of politicians who fell by the wayside in an operation that we can aptly call, “OPERATION FAGILIA POLITICAL JOKERS”
In Nyeri alone we had the following politicians kicked out in the primaries:
1. Kabando wa Kabando – a cantankerous man with one name twice!
2. Esther Mirugi – The babyface lady who threatened to strip naked and catwalk along Nairobi streets if Uhuru would be detained at the Hague.
3. Mary Wambui Kivaki – The lady who cannot construct a coherent sentence in English.
4. Mutahi Kagwe, a man running away from the senate because there is no money to control there. Obviously salivating at the county billions.
->In Nandi county, governor Cleophas Lagat was sent packing together with all his MCAs.
Another mugumo has fallen in Nakuru today.
Kinuthia Mbugua, the former AP boss who played a big role in the 2007 election debacle was sent packing.
Apart from the Waiguru question mark in Kirinyaga, the sweeping changes show how the citizens are tired with politicians who think that their main work is to make noise against opposition leaders and protect the gov’t of the day, while doing nothing substantial back home.
I hope my brothers and sisters from the perceived Jubilee strongholds will use the same broom they’ve used in the primaries to make the necessary sweeping changes at the very top come August 8th. Hapo nitajua hawataki ujinga.
