It has now emerged that Daily Nation Group linked Bishop David Muriithi of House Of Grace to the Nairobi-Naivasha accident after he allegedly refused to broadcast through NTV.
The fatal road accident where Mrs Mercy Njeri gave up the ghost is alleged to have been caused by Pastor James Ng’ang’a of Neno Evangelism.
According to the eyewitness whose name could not be disclosed for security reasons, the only person that was seen at the scene after the accident was Pastor Ng’ang’a of Neno Evangelism and not Bishop Muriithi or any of his cars.
The eyewitness confessed that he is accustomed to the two pastors.
Speaking to politics.co.ke in our Hurlingam offices, the witness also reiterated that he was shocked to see Bishop Muriithi dragged into something he had no idea about.
Meanwhile, Bishop Muriithi had the following to say in response to the new revelations that exonerate him from the malicious allegations:
“I write to thank you for the support and prayers you accorded me yesterday as we fought to quell the malicious report linking my cars to the Nairobi-Naivasha road accident that resulted in death of Ms Mercy Njeri. I am grateful for your continued support, trusting in the almighty that the truth shall set us free.
I reiterate my call to the investigating officers to speedily release the details of the cars involved to avoid speculation and bring those involved to justice.
The National Police Service owe it to the family of Ms Njeri and the entire nation the truth. Ms Njeri family needs closure while the public need to know that justice is still our shield and defender.
Thank you very much and may God bless you.
Bishop David Muriithi.
