When a 6 storey building collapses and NCA distances itself, when an alcoholic drink kills kenyans and KBS distances itself and brands it second generation.
When Kenyans are conned millions of shillings through pyramid schemes, the government keeps mum. When roads gets pot holes before they are commissioned, when Kenyans are denied the right weights and measures daily, the government keeps watching without doing anything.
when expired drugs find their way back to our chemists, the government shows no sign of restraining them. When a CEO of a company that has a loss of 30 billion shillings tells a parliamentary committee with temerity that he couldn’t buy shares of the company he worked for, but choose to buy cows instead, he is left off hook.
When a hurubaru (wheelbarrow) costs 110k in Bungoma County, a hospital gate costs 8 million County and the pit latrine costs 5 million in Nyamira County, the government is comfortable. When a Facebook account costs 2m in Kirinyaga County, the government assumes as if all is well. ..etc, ,….
…where is the position or duty of a government in these kind of injustices to citizens while we have regulatory bodies who are overseeing massive theft of public property and negligence?……isn’t it time we introduced public canning for such officers and death by firing squad in instances where such corruption and negligence leads to death?
