ODM diaspora has called on ODM Secretary General Ababu Namwamba to quit the party if he is not happy staying there. In a statement signed by ODM diaspora chairman Mr. Joseph Lister Nyaringo, the American based politician said the party was tired of pacifying the SG like a baby.
Here is what Mr. Nyaringo had to say, “The Swahili saying, “chombo cha kuvuja hakina rubani” and “La kuvunda halina ubani” clearly defines where Ababu NAMWAMBA , the SG is right now. It is true, Ababu Namwamba is a long gone case only that the party has not woken up to the reality.
It doesn’t count how many times you may appease Namwamba. It doesn’t matter how many names you christen him to keep him on check. His heart, his soul, his spirit, his mind and a part of his body is long gone.
We may live vocalizing, imagining, begging, pleading, promoting, etc. He is long gone. A time to wakeup is nigh.
Just like William Samoei Arap Ruto, and just like Musalia Mudavadi, they come with flimsy excuses. In the name of lacking a democratic space. In the name of speaking their mind…in the name of Raila Odinga not accommodating enough, bla….bla….bla…. what they fail to tell us, the thing NAMWAMBA has failed to tell us too, is that they are agents of our opponents whose mission is to divide, ruin, destroy, just to appease their masters whose payroll they happen to be in.
Tell these agents of Lucifer to quit if they are not happy in the party. They never quit as quitting early will not serve their purpose of being the voice of deceit and informants of their paymasters.
ODM we are smarter and should never settle on mediocrity. We have been bitten…not once…not twice…we can’t be twice shy?
A time to crack the whip is long gone. The behaviors of our Secretary General is a shame and wanting. If the secretary General betrays the party and the people, what other reason do we have not to crack the whip.why should we wait until the damage is done, until when it’s too late? How foolish can we be?.
We all remember Shikuku of the Forum for the Restoration of Democracy. History tells us how he ruined chances of the then strong party by acting the Matiba agent. We saw Ruto. We saw Musalia. What sound of drums are we waiting for in order to wakeup and act decisively on Ababu Namwamba?
A time has come. Kama sio sasa, then ni sasa hivi. Tomorrow will be too late.
Boldly speaking without fear or favor,
NAMWAMBA MUST GO………..” Joseph Lister Nyaringo – Chairman, ODM Diaspora
