IS KENYA A DIVIDED COUNTRY? ..when we lost our loved ones at westgate. We said “we are one ” when we lost our best brains at Garissa university “we spoke in one language “.
When David Rudisha broke the 800 meters record we all sang the anthem in one language But all this lasted only as long is the emotions allowed BUT the truth of the matter we are deeply divided along TRIBAL LINES.
we have sunk so low to a point that even political analysts support/assassinate characters on tribe. We have some churches based on tribe e.g when you mention Quackers the luhyas will raise their tea cups in celebration.
when you say PCEA then the house of Mumbi will wake up ,when you say AIC then the kambas will kata kawaya.
When you ask for SDA’s to come forward, Kisiis will storm the rostrum.
Why should we unite during crisis and divide after we’ve restored peace? I want to tell Kenyans that a united minority will easily defeat a divided majority. Our enemies are watching us as a country and they want us to go down because they wonder how we unlike most of them, manage to carry along without disputes.
It is time the political, religious class make a very major move in speaking unity otherwise our children will suffer.
We are one country, let us learn to live together in peace and harmony
LET US BE ONE.
