President Kenyatta is likely to cancel the ongoing KCSE exams due to massive leakage of exam questions. Politica has gathered that a special team of academicians visited the President yesterday at State House and warned against letting the exams to go on because it’ll affect the credibility of the results.
According to an attendee who did not want his identity revealed, it will be unfair for students to do the same exam while other have already revised for it.
“For instance, if someone got the questions and revised for them and he tackles them during exam, what about the one who did not get access to them? When exams are out, who will be fit to join university, the one who passed through rigging or the other who struggled to apply what he was taught in school? who will be called a success and who will be branded a failure?” Said the Kenyatta University professor.
The National exam papers have been circulating in the internet albeit the government had rubbished those claims as baseless, only to discover that it was indeed the same exam. It is also believed that the educationists advised the President to relieve Education CS Prof. Jacob Kaimenyi of his duties for negligence, incompetence and impunity.
It remains to be seen if the President will heed to the scholar’s advice or decline and let the examination go on.
