Our beloved President has proved to be an hero contrary to what our enemies had anticipated. When asked by a journalist the Stand of Kenya on gayism, during a press conference at State House, the President said categorically that Kenyan culture will never promote Gay Rights even if they are accepted in the United States.
The President said that although Kenya has a lot mutually with the United States, that does not mean that they agree on everything. Here is what the President had to say,
Journalist to President Kenyatta, “Mr. President, what is the position of Kenya on gayism? does Kenya hold the same position as the United States or otherwise” President Kenyatta’s response, “Kenya shares a lot of things with the United States, for instance trade, and many more but there are also many other things that we don’t share like culture and values like the practice of gayism”
The issue of gay Rights had recently triggered a heated debate led by dep0uty President William Ruto who warned President Obama against preaching the gospel of Gay Rights when he visits. It is believed that the same issue is the reason why the DP has been conspicuously missing in Obama’s meetings with Kenyan officials.
He was in State House during the Press conference although he chose to seat with other government “factotums”
