Following yesterday’s chaos after the botched Mashemeji derby that saw the destruction of property in the city by a section of Gor Mahia goons, Nairobi County has suspended all Gor Mahia matches.
According to the County communication director Walter Mong’are, Gor Mahia fans were arrested vandalizing County property and uprooting the famous Kidero grass. The game was suspended following the penalty awarded to Kogalo that did not augur well with Ingwe.
Speaking to Radio Jambo, Mong’are confirmed that the County has written to the club’s management and relevant soccer bodies to confirm the same and seek clarification.
More reports to follow shortly.
